Dr Shaun Dempsey

Dr Shaun Dempsey is a Clinical Psychologist who works in full-time private practice in Townsville, Queensland.  Shaun is a Certified IFS Therapist, and Approved IFS Clinical Consultant who completed Level 1 IFS training in the inaugural Australian training in 2017/2018 with Paul Ginter.  Shaun went on to complete IFS Levels 2 and 3 in the USA with Chris Burris and IFS Founder, Richard Schwartz respectively.  Shaun has a Masters in Clinical Psychology and a PhD in Psychology.  He is a AHPRA/Psychology Board of Australia Approved Supervisor and has been providing supervision to senior psychologists and therapists of various disciplines for over 15 years working primarily with complex trauma, PTSD, and adults who have experienced childhood sexual abuse.  As well as being trained and certified in IFS, Shaun is also trained in EMDR,  ACT and CBT.  https://www.ifsconsultationaustralia.com/
