Kate Dempsey

Kate Dempsey is an Accredited Psychosexual Therapist and Clinical Sexuality Educator who works in full-time private practice in Townsville, Queensland.  Kate is a Certified IFS Therapist, who completed Level 1 IFS training in the inaugural Australian training in 2017/2018 with Paul Ginter.  She went on to complete the IFS Level 2 couples therapy training, Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO) in 2021, and has since been a Program Assistant at IFS IFIO Level 2 trainings. Kate is a a Certified IFS Therapist and Approved IFS Clinical Consultant.  Kate has completed a Master of Science in Medicine (HIV, STIs and Sexual Health) Counselling from the University of Sydney.  She is a member of the College of Supervisors with the Australian Counselling Association.  Kate is registered with the Society of Australian Sexologists, is a Member of the European Society of Sexual Medicine, and the International Society of Sexual Medicine.  Kate is a trauma-informed sex therapist who works with adult individuals, couples and other relationship styles.  https://sexologynorthqueensland.com.au
